Popular K-pop boy band JYJ will return to the music scene with a new album in July.
JYJ released a comeback teaser on Youtube on Monday, June 16, which says that the “Return of the Kings” will happen next month.
The news was welcomed by fans that “JYJ COMEBACK teaser” trended worldwide on twitter.
Back in March, Bulletin Entertainment had an exclusive interview with JYJ where the k-pop group announced that they will be releasing an album.
“Finally, we will bring you a new JYJ album in the second half of this year and of course there will be tours for concerts,” said JYJ.
The new album is a follow-up to their 2011 album “in Heaven” which peaked at No. 1 on the Gaon Music Charts.
JYJ members Jaejoong, Yoochun and Junsu are currently doing their individual activities.
Jaejoong is starring in the drama “Triangle” which premiered last May. The story revolves around three brothers, Jang Dong-chul (played by Jaejoong), Jang Dong-Soo (played by Lee Beom-soo) and Jang Dong-woo (played by Im Si-wan), who meet again after being separated for 20 years. He also released the theme song as part of the drama’s original soundtrack.
Yoochun wrapped up his drama “Three Days” which aired in Korea from March to May this year. He held his “2014 Park Yoochun Fanmeeting Housewarming Party” last June 4 to celebrate his birthday. In the fanmeeting he announced that they were working on the album. He held the same fanmeeting in Guangzhou, China last June 14.
Junsu will star in the musical “Dracula” next month.
